Heritage conservation is an area that covers a broad spectrum from culture and architecture to history, and in which a great effort to maintain optimal conditions in our sights and our own history is being made every day. STEREOCARTO has a long experience in the execution in this kind of projects in Spain and abroad.
STEREOCARTO started its research projects in 1996 and has kept on till nowadays. From that moment STEREOCART has kept on focusing in:
1. Technological challenges
2. Functional challenges
3. Its opening to new markets
STEREOCARTO's main technological challenge was to undertake the migration to the new digital technologies that have been growing during these years, attending to economic factors with important investments, staff factors in order to find qualified technicians, training factors as a response to the quick changes in this sector and commercial factors to explain the customers the advantages of these new technologies.
Keeping that in mind, it was designed a strategy aimed at the technical part. This strategy has changed and has been adapted along time and new functional and internationalization aspects have been introduced.
Since ancient times, turning vast areas in places where life were comfortable, offering equipment and services needed to improve the life quality, has been one of the main objectives of architects and urban planners. Inhabitants of these cities have moved from being satisfied with the minimum basic services (cobbled streets, lighting, sewerage, etc.), to be more demanding with the environment where they live, with parks, broad avenues, non-polluting public transport, wifi lines, etc.
